Hello everybody ,

Four months ago this new and passionate course began, Christmas break is here and I think it is time to look carefully at the big picture or better at those pieces of art from above.

What do I see? I don´t know, but I like what I see, I could feel that both teachers and students are enjoying; I can see the energy and enthusiasm throughout the room. I can see the desire to create something fueled by their curiosity.

My question or reflection would be: IS THIS WHAT LEARNING LOOKS LIKE? IS THIS WHAT LEARNING SHOULD BE?

My answer is: NO THIS IS NOT WHAT LEARNING SHOULD LOOK LIKE, AT ALL TIMES.Instead, students will tell us that learning should look like this ..

In the end, learning looks the way our students need it to look. Whether that means a teacher in the front setting up a foundation for exploration, students exploring their way through something individual quiet contemplation and in-depth thinking, or even small groups teaching others; learning is many things, looks many ways, and feels many ways.  It has to because we all learn differently, we all process things differently. We all need different things at different times.

If we run our classroom in one way, even if it is an incredible way in our eyes, we risk losing the love of learning from a child.  Every child should feel at home in our rooms, every child should feel like they can learn.  Every child should feel that the way they learn is right. So there is no one way that learning should look like. It should look however fits our kids best. And that changes often,just like our students do.

In conclusion, I like what I see I am passionate about it because it is different, changes and grows like the life itself.

¡ESTA ES LA FORMA QUE APRENDEMOS!

Han pasado 4 meses de este nuevo y apasionante curso, llegan las vacaciones de navidad y he pensado que es momento de reflexionar y ver el cuadro, bueno mejor dicho las obras de arte desde arriba. ¿Qué veo? No sé, pero me gusta, hay algo que me dice que tanto profesores como alumnos disfrutan, veo que se desprende energía y entusiasmo en el aula, veo deseo de crear cosas inducidos por la curiosidad.

Mi pregunta o reflexión seria “¿Es esta la forma que aprendemos?” “¿Esto es lo que debería ser aprender?” Pues mi respuesta es:

“aprender no debe ser SIEMPRE así” ¿por qué? Porque serán los propios alumnos los que nos irán dando forma  a como aprender / enseñar:

a veces incluso así…

 

Al final aprender será de la forma que nuestros alumnos lo vean, ya sea con el profesor liderando las bases para la exploración, los estudiantes explorando algo a su manera, con observación individual y serena y pensamiento profundo o en pequeños grupos ayudándose unos a otros, aprendiendo muchas cosas, de muchas maneras, y sintiendo diferente.Tiene que ser así porque todos aprendemos de manera diferente, y asimilamos las cosas de manera diferente, todos necesitamos pensar diferente en los diferentes momentos.

Si la clase siempre es igual, aunque esa forma sea extraordinaria para nuestros ojos, corremos el riesgo de que el niño pierda su ilusión por aprender, cada alumno debe sentirse como en casa en nuestras aulas, cada alumno debe sentir que puede y sabe aprender. Cada alumno debe sentir que la forma que aprende es la correcta. Luego no hay solo una única forma de aprender, aprender debe ser de tal forma que sirva al alumno de la mejor manera, y que cambiará a menudo, al igual que lo hacen nuestros alumnos.

En definitiva lo que veo me gusta y me apasiona por que es diferente y cambia y crece como la vida misma.
